Connecting Our Community
Picture
Healthy La Paz was created in 2015, when local community service providers came together to identify specific health issues within the community. These partnerships increase awareness of available health and social services to help eliminate gaps in the referral system. We encourage employers to maintain a healthy workplace through community wide wellness events and programs. We research and implement healthy community design ideas to promote a healthy lifestyle and active living. Healthy La Paz is always changing and exploring different ideas to help decrease health disparities within the population.

Community Health Assessment
Every five years Healthy La Paz  conducts our county's Community Health Assessment which gives organizations comprehensive information about the community’s current health status, needs, and issues. In turn, this information can help with developing a community health improvement plan by justifying how and where resources should be allocated to best meet our communities needs.
Community Promotion
Healthy La Paz helps the promotion of partnerships activities throughout La Paz County. Providing individuals in our community information about what and who are operating within La Paz County via meetings and social media.
Meetings
Healthy La Paz is dedicated to strengthening our community. On a monthly basis community partners come together to report, discuss and work in hand to deliberate current and future ideas. Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month starting at 1:30pm.
