AmeriCorps Seniors

AmeriCorps Seniors offers three programs where adults 55 & older, can enrich lives & strengthen communities through volunteering. 
As a AmeriCorps Seniors volunteer you can receive:

*A tax-free stipend (does not affect SSI or other benefits)*
*Accident and liability insurance while on duty*
*Personal and holiday leave*
*Reimbursement for volunteer mileage*

Senior Companions Program

Senior Companion program help others live independently by providing assistance and friendship. Activities they can also provide include respite for caregivers, running errands, and taking individuals to appointments. Senior Companions help the elderly remain in their own homes where they are more satisfied with their lives. 

Foster Grandparents Program

As a Foster Grandparent you can use life experience and wisdom to help support the local youth. Foster Grandparents can mentor, tutor, support, and guide students, children, and teens through school and other youth programs.

Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

RSVP volunteers can use their skills and talents to serve a local organization they are passionate about. It is your choice who you serve.
