C.R.I.T. Early Literacy Program dedicated to 0-5 year-olds, Language and early literacy developments starts from the very beginning. Babies are listening in utero, and once they’re born, they’re communicating through eye contact, facial expressions, crying, smiles, and touch. When adults respond with words, conversation, and attention, it helps build the child’s brain to promote healthy development and learning. Our CRIT Early Literacy program provides weekly early literacy activities and storytimes virtual utilizing all senses for their education.
The Early Literacy Program is offered at The Colorado River Indian Tribes Library/Archives and gives you free access to Participate in family-friendly workshops, classes, story times and other events to have fun with your child, learn more about child development, positive parenting, health and literacy, and meet other parents. |
