The La Paz Mask Project started at the beginning of the pandemic when our frontline workers could not get suitable personal protective equipment (PPE). With the help of the community, we were able to get a group of local seamstresses to help us pull this off. Once our frontline workers were covered, we opened it up to the public. This project ran off of donations from the community. We are pleased to announce that we were able to give out over 900 masks to those who needed them.
